Curriculum
We use the Development Matters document as the foundations of our curriculum.
We then use what we know about our children, families and the local context, to create a rich and ambitious curriculum which allows opportunity to further develop the 7 areas of learning, based upon all the things we know about our children, their families and their experiences.

We provide children with a broad curriculum and opportunities to strengthen and apply all 7 areas of learning during child and adult led activitites and continuous provision.

Our inclusive curriculum is sequencial, allowing children to build on from what they already know and can do. We support children to know more, remember more and do more so they can continue to move onto the next stage of their education, at whatever stage that may be.
We work hard to reduce barriers to learning and support our practitioners to recognise children who may be at risk of disadvantage.

Our leaders and managers support practitioners to deliver our high quality and engaging curriculum through continued staff development, professional conversations and embedded reflective practice. In supporting practitioners to deliver our carefully considered curriculum through high quality interactions, story telling, modelling, questioning and play, we extend children’s learning and inspire a lifelong love of learning and discovery.
